November 2009: “Development of Medicines for Asthma”, Lucy Cavendish College Taster Day.

October-November 2009: “Herbal weight-loss treatments: do they work, are they safe?” A series of interactive workshops as part of the Cambridge Science Festival.

August 2009:  “A Short History of Herbs in Medicine” for the Excellence East: History Summer School, University of Cambridge.

June 2009:  “Herbal Weight-Loss Medicines”  for the FE Summer School at Churchill College, Cambridge.

May 2009: “Herbal Medicine Heritage” for the series “Thoughts in a Green Shade”, Lucy Cavendish College.

November 2008:   “Herbal Medicine Heritage” for University of the Third Age, Cambridge.

March 2008:  “Herbs or Pills? A Pharmacologist’s Perspective”  GCSE Masterclass for the Cambridge Science Festival.

February – March 2008: “Effects of Caffeine on the Water Flea Daphnia”. A workshop for 10 primary schools in the Cambridge area funded by the Wellcome Trust as part of the Cambridge Science Festival.
